managed to win 2nd place in the 2025 Komdigi Journalism Award for the television coverage category regarding its coverage that raised the issue of child protection.
This award was given for coverage with the title “Aghnina’s Love for Indonesian Children”.This coverage highlights concern, hope and real movement in creating a safe growing space for children in the digital era.

The television coverage category was won by Afwan Purwanto Muin from Kompas TV with the coverage “Beware! Child Predators on the Internet”.Then, third place was won by Cahyaning Tyas Agpri from DAAI TV with the coverage “Brain Rot: The Dangers of Silent Screens”.

The 2025 Komdigi Journalism Award has the theme “PP Tunas: Building a Child-Friendly, Healthy and Fair Digital Space”.This theme is in line with the Ministry of Communication and Technology’s work priorities to provide a digital ecosystem that is efficient, based on human values, and safe for all citizens, especially children.
The Komdigi Journalistic Award (AJK) is an annual appreciation event for members of the press who contribute to reporting on the progress of the communications and digital sector in Indonesia.Since it was first held in 2018, AJK has become an important space for appreciation for journalists throughout the country.
In his remarks at the peak of the AJK 2025 event, Secretary General Komdigi Ismail expressed his gratitude for holding this activity which has witnessed the nation’s journey in expanding connectivity and strengthening society’s digital literacy.
“AJK was born from the spirit of appreciating journalists who play a big role in reporting on the progress of the communications and digital sectors in Indonesia,” said Ismail, Wednesday (19/11).
This year’s AJK event recorded high enthusiasm from media people.A total of 209 journalists from various regions have submitted 328 best works covering five categories: print media, online media, television, radio and photojournalism.
All works are assessed objectively and transparently by a jury consisting of academics, media practitioners and government representatives.The best works not only fulfill journalistic rules, but also carry educational, inspiring messages and have a positive impact on society.
Through the 2025 Komdigi Journalism Award, the government and stakeholders hope that all media people will continue to play a role as the vanguard in creating a child-friendly digital space.
This award is an encouragement to present news that is not only informative, but also protects, empowers and builds a better future for Indonesian children.
