gaming console
their newest handheld, Legion Go 2 in Indonesia.This console follows in the footsteps of the Legion Go S which was first present in Indonesia, so what’s the difference?
According to the company, the Lenovo Legion Go S and Legion Go 2 handheld gaming consoles are available for different segments.Legion Go 2 comes with higher performance with various playing scenarios.

“Why is there a Legion Go 2 and why is there a Go S? Actually, the Legion Go S is a different target segment. So, for the Legion Go, people really want top of the line, best of the best. Then he wants a super powerful console, and he can get all the playing scenarios,” said Hendry Lim, Consumer Product Manager for Lenovo Indonesia in a hands-on session entitled Cruise Into Gaming on the coast of Jakarta, Thursday (30/10).
“But there are some people who might, I want to try a gaming handheld, but one that is more affordable, the specs don’t need to be high, I might need something smaller, lighter, for example, choose the Legion Go S,” he added.
Legion Go 2 was released on Monday (20/10) and is priced at IDR 17,999 million.On the engine side, the Legion Go 2 is equipped with AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme with Zen 5 architecture, 8 cores/16 threads.This processor is claimed to be able to provide an AAA gaming experience with smooth frames and multitasking without lag.
The machine is combined with up to 32GB LPDDR5X memory and up to 2TB PCIe SSD storage.
In the control section, Lenovo brings detachable Legion TrueStrike Controllers which can be used in various modes, from handheld, docked, tabletop, to FPS.
On the screen, the Legion Go 2 has an 8.8 inch OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, 16:10 ratio, DCI-P3 97% color gamut, 10-point touch, and 500 nits brightness.
The audio experience is also enhanced through dual 2W speakers with Nahimic Audio and Spatial Audio to deliver detailed sound and clear direction.This device is also equipped with a dual near-field microphone array so that users can communicate clearly without interference.
For connectivity, the Lenovo Legion Go 2 is equipped with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.In addition, this device has two USB4 Type-C ports located at the top and bottom for easy access, whether used in a dock, on a table, or in the hand.
The Legion Coldfront cooling system on the Lenovo Legion Go 2 has a larger radiator and fan area, so air flow increases by up to 45 percent without increasing noise.
Meanwhile, the Legion Go S was released in Indonesia in mid-February and was priced at IDR 8,999 million.
The Legion Go S was first introduced at CES 2025 as a Windows-based handheld device for gamers who want to play their favorite games anywhere.
The backbone of the Legion Go S’s performance is the AMD Z2 Go processor and Zen 3 architecture combined with 16GB LPDDR5X memory and 512GB PCIe Gen4 storage.This processor is supported by four CPU cores and eight threads.
The Legion Go S is equipped with an 8-inch PureSight WUXGA touch screen and a 16:10 aspect ratio with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.This screen also has 100% sRGB color accuracy and can have a maximum brightness level of 500 nits.
This device, which weighs 730 grams, is supported by Wi-Fi 6e support, two USB 4 ports at the top, and a microSD card reader.
To maintain optimal performance, Lenovo has also equipped this device with Legion ColdFront technology.
