Semarang Police
is currently hunting for the perpetrator who is suspected of committing fraud in making songs by using
artificial intelligence
(AI).
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for the Semarang Police, AKBP Andika Dharma Sena, said that the perpetrator, who is a resident of East Jakarta, was reported to the police by the victim who is also involved in the world of music.

He said this alleged criminal act occurred around October 2024.
“The case has been going on for a long time. The Semarang Police were also sued pre-trial, but the court rejected it,” he said in Semarang, Thursday (6/11), quoted from

When investigators went to the address, it was discovered that the perpetrator had run away.
Sena explained that this fraud case began when the victim ordered a song from the perpetrator.The songs ordered use music from manual artistic instruments.
In the order, it was agreed to produce 60 songs with a transaction value of IDR 120 million.
However, when the order was completed, the result the victim got was music that was in disarray and did not match the arrangement.
It was later revealed that the perpetrator used AI technology to create the songs ordered.
Semarang Police have now placed FH on the wanted list (DPO).
