Now it has a power saving feature which allows not too much battery consumption when using the navigation application.Check out how to use it.
Continuous use of navigation applications can drain the battery.The presence of a power saving feature can really help reduce battery consumption, especially when traveling.

“With Power saving mode, you can access a simple power saving map on the lock screen while driving. This power saving map displays important information, such as the next turn,” wrote Google on its support page.
“Compared to using standard navigation in Google Maps, Power saving mode can significantly extend your phone’s battery life,” he continued.
Google says this feature is only available in driving mode and does not support other modes of transportation, such as walking or cycling navigation.
How to use
However, this feature is not yet available for all phones.The new Google Maps power saving feature is provided for Google’s newest line of cellphones, namely the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
Here’s how to use the power saving feature in Google Maps:
1. Open the Google Maps application
2. In the search box, enter your destination.Tap your destination on the map
3. To view the car’s route, tap Driving
4. Start driver navigation.
5. To use power-saving navigation maps on the lock screen, once you start navigating, press your phone’s Power button
6. To exit this mode, you can tap the screen or press the Power button again.
7. To return to the power saving navigation map, press the Power button again.
By default, power saving mode is enabled.However, you can also turn this feature off and on from the settings.
Here’s how to turn the power saving feature on and off:
1. Open the Google Maps application
2. Tap your profile photo or initial
3. Go to Settings > Navigation
4. In the Driving options section, turn Power saving mode on or off.
Furthermore, the power saving mode can only be used in portrait position.By using this mode, you can get longer battery life while driving.
Through this feature, you will see a simpler layout that only displays important information such as the next turn.
