China finally returned to Earth after its return was delayed because of the plane
space
they were hit by pieces of space debris.
The three crew members of the Shenzhou-20 mission — Chen Dong, Wang Jie, and Chen Zhongrui — left the Chinese space station, Tiangong using a spare capsule.The three of them landed in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, northern China, on Friday (14/11).

The three Shenzhou-20 crew members returned home using a capsule from the Shenzhou-21 vehicle, which previously took the replacement crew to Tiangong.
According to a Xinhua report, Shenzhou 21 broke away from Tiangong station on Friday at 11.14 Beijing time.The capsule carrying the three then separated at 14.49, before landing on Earth at 16.40.
The three spent 204 days in orbit, a new record for the Chinese astronaut crew commonly called taikonauts.
The condition of the taikonauts is said to be in good condition after being in space longer than the scheduled time.
According to Live Science, they started their mission in April 2025. They were supposed to return to Earth on November 5, but that plan changed after the capsule that would carry them was hit by a space object, which was thought to be a piece of space debris.
Although 204 days in space is a record for Chinese astronauts, it is not the longest record in human history.
Previously, two NASA astronauts, Butch Wilmore and Sunita Williams, even spent 286 days on the International Space Station (ISS).The two of them were stranded in space after the Boeing Starliner plane, which was supposed to be their vehicle home, had problems.
The two of them were finally able to return to Earth after being picked up by the SpaceX vehicle.
The world record for the longest human stay in space is still held by Russian cosmonaut Valeri Polyakov, who spent 437 days on the Mir space station from 1994 to 1995.
