Film lovers can now buy cinema tickets online and don’t have to bother queuing using the application
GoPay

Gopay has collaborated with Cinema XII to provide a cinema ticket sales service that can be accessed in the Games and Entertainment column.
“Through the ‘Games and Entertainment’ feature in the GoPay application, users can access various services outside of finance, including entertainment such as cinema tickets, without needing to open other applications,” said GoPay Wallet Head of Product Marketing, Rudy Tantyo Setiawan in his statement, Wednesday (19/11).

Gopay also provided a promo at the start of the release of its newest feature, namely in the form of 50 percent cashback of up to 25 thousand GoPay coins for every first purchase of cinema tickets via the GoPay application.This promo is valid from 7 November 2025 to 15 January 2026.
Here’s how to buy cinema tickets on the Gopay application:
1. Open the GoPay application, select the Games and Entertainment feature
2. Select a cinema network, then determine the viewing location
3. Select the desired film and broadcast schedule
4. Enter the number of tickets and select a seat
5. Complete the payment using GoPay
6. The e-ticket will automatically appear in the GoPay application
Online cinema purchases can also be made via websites or applications belonging to cinema chains or ticket sales platforms.Here are several options for purchasing cinema tickets online:
1. Cinema XXI
Cinema XXI is one of the largest cinema chains in Indonesia with many branches in various cities.
To make it easier for spectators, they provide online ticket purchasing services via the M-Tix application or the official website.
The ordering steps are as follows:
1. Open the official website 21cineplex.com or use the M-Tix application
2. Login to an already registered account, or make a new registration using your cellphone number and email
3. Top up your M-Tix balance according to the ticket price you want to buy
4. Search for the film you want to watch, then click “Buy Tickets”
5. Determine the location of the cinema and the desired show time
6. Select the number of tickets and seats according to availability
7. Confirm the order and make payment using your M-Tix balance
8. Electronic tickets will be sent to email and stored in the application
9. Print tickets via an automatic machine at the cinema before entering the studio
2. CGV
Not only can you buy tickets directly at the location, CGV also provides an online booking system so that viewers can more easily choose the schedule and seats.
In fact, there is also the option to add food or drinks when ordering.Here are the steps for ordering tickets at CGV online:
1. Access the official site cgv.id or open the CGV application
2. Log in with an existing account, or create a new account if you don’t have one
3. Select the film according to the title or determine the cinema you want to visit
4. Adjust the broadcast schedule and select available seats
5. If you wish, add food or drinks before continuing payment
6. Select the payment method according to your needs, then complete the transaction
7. E-tickets will be sent to email and can also be printed directly on the machines available at the cinema
3. TIX ID
Apart from going through the official cinema application, viewers can also buy tickets via third party applications such as TIX ID.
This application is quite popular because it provides ticket booking services from several large cinema chains at once, such as XXI, CGV, and Cinepolis.
The process is simple, and the payment is integrated with the DANA digital wallet so it is more practical.Here are the steps:
1. Open the TIX ID application then log in using your account
2. Select the cinema location and the film you want to watch, then click “Buy Tickets”
3. Determine seats according to availability
4. Click “Order Summary” to review the order details and total price
5. Click “Continue” to continue payment
6. Select the payment method using DANA balance
7. After the transaction is successful, open the “Ticket” menu in the application to see the e-ticket that is ready to be used
8. With TIX ID, you can enter the studio directly by just showing your e-ticket without needing to reprint it
