A company in Japan started selling human washing machines for 60 million yen or around IDR 6.4 billion.
After previously attracting the attention of visitors to the World Expo in Osaka which ended last October, this human washing machine went on sale.The prototype of this device sparked queues at the exhibition, which was visited by more than 27 million people.

As the name suggests, the machine will wash the humans in it.Users only need to lie down in the pod, close the pod, and it is then cleaned like clothes in a washing machine while music plays.
Made by Japanese company Science, the device is an update of a product showcased when Osaka last hosted the event in 1970.
“Our company president was inspired by it as a 10-year-old at the time,” said Science spokesperson Sachiko Maekura, quoted by

Maekura says the machine “cleanses not only your body but also your soul,” while monitoring the user’s heart rate and other vital signs.
After a US resort company contacted Science to ask if the prototype would be marketed, the company decided to put it into production.
According to Maekura, a hotel in Osaka was the first buyer and is preparing to offer the service to hotel guests.
The machine also caught the attention of Yamada Denki, a large consumer electronics retail chain in Japan.The company hopes the machines will attract people to visit its stores.
“Because one of the attractions of this machine is its rarity, we plan to produce only about 50 units,” Maekura said.
Local media reported that the retail price would reach 60 million yen or around IDR 6.43 billion.

1. Enter the pod
Users lie inside a 2.3 meter enclosed pod designed for full body washing.
2. Washing automatically starts
The machine uses microbubbles and a fine mist spray to gently cleanse the entire body.
3. Health monitoring
Built-in sensors monitor the user’s vital signs during washing to ensure safety.
4. Relaxation experience
During the washing process, calming visuals and calming music play inside the capsule.
5. Drying process
After washing, the machine dries the user automatically, completing the entire process in about 15 minutes.

Users leave clean and relaxed without needing a towel.
