The IQOO 15 flagship cellphone was officially released in Indonesia on Tuesday (2/12), becoming the first cellphone to bring the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset to Indonesia.

Welcome to the launch of iQOO 15, monster inside, performance beyond,” said Rifqi Arrahmansyah, Brand Manager of iQOO Indonesia at the launch event in Jakarta, Tuesday (2/12).

As a cellphone that makes performance its main DNA, iQOO is again the first to carry the top Snapdragon chipset.The iQOO 15 is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset combined with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, which in internal testing scored an AnTuTu score of 4,382,324.
The chipset is paired with the Q3 Supercomputing Chip which is claimed to provide a performance increase of up to 60 percent, energy efficiency of 40 percent, an increase in code capability of 50 percent, and an increase in AI capabilities of up to 400 percent.
The 8K VC Cooling System with Pyrolytic Graphite Double-Layer cooling system is also embedded to maintain temperature stability while running heavy applications or playing games.
On the battery side, the iQOO 15 has a capacity of 7,000 mAh with the latest generation BlueVolt technology which uses a 4th-gen silicon anode and a 2nd-gen semi-solid battery.This battery supports 100W FlashCharge charging and 40W wireless charging.
Physically, the iQOO 15 doesn’t seem to have changed too much from its predecessor, the iQOO 13. This cellphone has dimensions of 76.8×163.65×8.14 mm and weighs around 216 grams.
On the screen, iQOO relies on a 6.85 inch Samsung 2K M14 LEAD OLED screen with a resolution of 3168 x 1440, a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, and a peak brightness level that can reach 6000 nits.
The iQOO 15 camera configuration consists of three rear cameras with a 50MP Sony IMX921 main camera (1/1.56″, f/1.88), a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom capability. Meanwhile, the front camera has a resolution of 32MP.
For the gaming experience, iQOO also provides several features such as 2K 144FPS concurrent super resolution and frame interpolation, full-scene ray tracing, and 2K 60FPS + 20Mbps ultra-high-definition live streaming capabilities.
The audio and haptic experience is also enhanced via the MAX Dual-Axis Vibration Motor and Symmetrical Drum Master Speaker Pro.
iQOO 15 comes in two colors, namely Alpha (white) and Legend (black).Here are the prices for iQOO 15:
