Kim believed in the conspiracy theory after watching a video of Aldrin’s interview which he interpreted as admitting that the landing never happened.
Sean Duffy, acting NASA Administrator and US Minister of Transportation, immediately ‘sprayed’ Kanye West’s ex-wife.In a tweet on social media, Duffy said that NASA had sent humans to the Moon six times.
“Yes, @KimKardashian, we’ve been to the Moon…six times!”Duffy tweeted on Thursday (30/1), as reported

.
Duffy, on that occasion, also emphasized that the US is preparing to return to the Moon via the Artemis II mission in 2026, which will send astronauts on a 10-day journey around the Moon.Moon landing is scheduled for 2027.
“We won the space race before, and we will win it again,” he explained.
According to a Reuters report, Aldrin’s statement quoted by Kim may have been taken out of context. The video in question comes from an event at Oxford Union, England in 2015.
At that time, Aldrin was asked about the most tense moment during the Apollo mission. On that occasion, Aldrin answered “Most tense moment? None, because it didn’t happen,” while raising his hands and laughing, which was intended as a joke that nothing scary happened during the mission.
After that, Aldrin immediately talked about technical problems related to the switch that was damaged on his way to the Moon.
To date, NASA has not provided any additional official statements regarding Kim’s remarks.Spokespeople for Kim and Aldrin have not responded to media requests for comment.
Apollo 11 was a mission to complete the national target set by then US President John F Kennedy who wanted to bring humans to the Moon and then back to Earth.
Apollo 11 was launched from Cape Kennedy, USA, July 16, 1969. The crew of this mission consisted of Commander Neil Armstrong, Command Module Pilot Michael Collins, and Lunar Module Pilot Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin.
They landed on the Moon on July 20, 1969.
This achievement cannot be separated from various conspiracy theories which essentially accuse the astronauts of never actually setting foot on the Moon.
