, the carcass of a spotted shark was found stranded on Pagak Beach, Pagak Village, Nkombol District, Purworejo, Sunday (7/12) morning.

The shark carcass on the shoreline then became a spectacle for residents.
“It was found around 05.00 WIB. Yes, it weighs around 1 ton to 1.5 tons and is about 4 meters long,” said the Head of Pagak Village, Supanut, Sunday morning.
Supanut explained that the spotted shark was found dead by residents who were fishing.
“The first time I saw someone fishing, he was dead. His tail was moving in the waves, but he was dead, but there were no injuries,” he explained.
Meanwhile, the Ngombol Police Chief, AKP Sugiyono, said that his party was coordinating with other related agencies to carry out the steps that would be taken.Because it was dead, the shark’s carcass was buried nearby.
“Coordination with BPBD, if it’s possible to save it at sea, it’s saved, but if it’s not possible, it’s buried, it can’t be consumed,” he said.
