Google announced a list of the best applications and games on Android throughout 2025. Several popular applications such as Edits, Soundcloud, and Candy Crush Solitaire are included in the list.
“The winners of Google Play Best of 2025 have been announced. This year’s awards celebrate extraordinary applications, games and books that amaze us with their brilliance, creativity and quality,” wrote Sam Bright, Vice President and General Manager, Google Play + Developer Ecosystem in his statement, Tuesday (18/11).

Bright called this award a demonstration of Google Play being more than just a store, but an experience that is completely user-focused.
“We look forward to seeing developers and publishers continue to help people discover new apps, games and books on all their devices,” said Bright.
