Minister of Communication and Digital (Menkomdigi) of the Republic of Indonesia Meutya Hafid won the Excellence in Digital Governance & Strategic Communication Leadership award at the domclub Indonesia Awards 2025 which was held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel Jakarta, Friday (31/10/2025).
The award was handed over directly by the Main Director/CEO of domclub Indonesia, Titin Rosmasari, and received by the Director General of Public Communications and Media of the Ministry of Communication and Digital, Fifi Aleyda Yahya, who represented the Minister of Communication and Technology.
Meutya Hafid is considered a figure who is able to connect the worlds of media, politics and technology in one visionary leadership.

Starting from a career as an accomplished international caliber journalist, to serving as Chair of Commission I DPR RI, Meutya is considered successful in leading the national digital transformation towards the era of information sovereignty.
“As Minister of Communication and Technology, Meutya’s track record is considered to be a symbol of new era leadership capable of safeguarding information sovereignty,” said the 2025 domclub Indonesia Awards Organizing Committee.
Apart from Meutya Hafid, the 2025 domclub Indonesia Leadership Award was also received by a number of national figures from various sectors.
Outstanding Leadership in Strengthening National Defense and Sovereignty was awarded to TNI Commander General TNI, Agus Subiyanto.
Outstanding Contribution to Safeguarding Public Security and Advancing National Priorities was received by the National Police Chief, Pol General.Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
Outstanding Leadership in Advancing Justice and Integrity was awarded to the Attorney General of the Republic of Indonesia, ST Burhanuddin.
Outstanding Leadership in National Food Security and Cooperative Empowerment was awarded to the Coordinating Minister for Food, Zulkifli Hasan.
The Lifetime Achievement Award in the Extraordinary in Nation Builder & Architect of Indonesia’s Democratic Economy category was awarded posthumously to Proclaimer and First Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mohammad Hatta.
Titin Rosmasari explained that this awards event is a forum for national appreciation that highlights inspirational and collaborative leadership in various fields.
“This afternoon we are here to celebrate collaboration and harmony and strengthen the spirit of Astagita, the eight ideals for the nation’s future. Since it was first held, the domclub Indonesia Awards have become a space for appreciation for those who inspire Indonesia,” he said.
This year’s domclub Indonesia Awards is the eighth event, after previously being successfully held in various provinces such as South Sulawesi, North Sumatra, West Java, Bali, South Sumatra, East Java and Central Java.
This award event marks the consistency of national media in supporting a leadership ecosystem that has integrity, innovation and is oriented towards the progress of the nation.
