has become one of the most popular games in
Indonesia
in 2025. Several games are favorites among players in Indonesia, such as mountain climbing and fishing.
Roblox seems to not only be gaining momentum domestically, but also globally.The Roblox report states that a total of 88.7 billion hours will be spent by global players on the platform throughout 2025.

“Users on Roblox don’t just play; they actively shape culture and even influence purchasing decisions in the real world based on their virtual identities,” said Raj Bhatia, Roblox Vice President, Head of User and Discovery Product in his statement, Wednesday (17/12).
On average, each user spends around 2.8 hours a day on the platform.The daily active user (DAU) figure alone reached 151.5 million people.
On one Saturday in August, the number of players on this platform even reached more than 45 million people simultaneously.
Roblox data indicates the high curiosity of Gen Z users. On average, Gen Z players try 21 different games every month.
This is considered to create great opportunities for creators to design games that are more creative and cover various genres.
Of the total 50 million daily searches, general searches dominate (60 percent).Searches on general topics include horror games or roleplaying games.
Meanwhile, Indonesian users focused on searching for mountain climbing topics, as well as the Brookhaven game and the Fish It game.
Here are the top five terms most searched by Indonesian users on Roblox:

Furthermore, Roblox also found that users are not just playing games.Through millions of interactions on the platform, they are also said to express preferences, moods and a sense of togetherness, through various behaviors on the platform.
These users have also turned Roblox into the newest shopping center for Gen Z, where 54 percent of users prefer purchasing with friends on the digital platform or equally prefer it compared to shopping in the real world.
Regarding this shopping, Roblox also found that 70 percent of Gen Z users had tried branded digital fashion on the Roblox platform and 88 percent of users used this feature as a place to try before buying the product in the real world.
This is also considered to influence purchasing decisions, where 64 percent of respondents stated that they would strongly consider buying a product after trying it on Roblox.
