The robot even became a model citizen, because it successfully completed its journey across main roads and busy urban roads.
The company says AgiBot is capable of navigating a variety of surfaces while complying with traffic regulations.
A three-day walk is challenging enough for humans, but for a robot, it might be the equivalent of traveling around the world.
The AgiBot’s battery life in idle condition only lasts three hours. So in order for this robot to continue operating without ever turning off, the battery, which is equipped with a hot-swap system, must be replaced.
“Once I cross the finish line, I will break the world record for the furthest distance traveled by a humanoid robot, and obtain official certification from Guinness World Records,” the robot said in an English-language marketing video.
“I am confident I can complete this challenge,” he said again.
“With the first rays of dawn in the morning, I have reached the finish line of this climb,” AgiBot said proudly as he arrived at the North Bund, a beautiful riverside area in Shanghai.
Wang Chuang, the company’s partner and senior vice president, said the achievement demonstrated the robot’s reliability and stability.
“Walking from Suzhou to Shanghai is difficult for many people to do in one trip, but this robot managed to do it,” he said enthusiastically, it was reported

This is a remarkable achievement for a humanoid robot. With China pushing its tech industry to focus on robotics, it’s likely that AgiBot is just getting started.
