“The difference between a human brain and a goldfish in a pot, the difference is 10,000 times. But it will be different, we will be fish, they (AI) will be like humans,” said Son, quoted

, Friday (5/12).
“They (AI) will be 10,000 times smarter than us,” he added.
Son compared the relationship between artificial super intelligence (ASI) and the relationship between humans and pets.
“We don’t need to eat them. Breast milk doesn’t eat protein. They don’t need to eat us — don’t worry,” he said.
Lee responded while laughing and expressing his concerns.
Lee then asked Son whether ASI could win the Nobel Prize for Literature.Last year, South Korean writer Han Kang received the award for his work Vegetarian.
ASI is described as a hypothetical scenario where AI overtakes humans.
Scientists still think breast milk is a long way off. However, they say an important first step is artificial general intelligence (AGI), which will outperform humans in many tasks, could be realized within a decade.
South Korea has the ambition to become an AI center and could become a leading country in the field of artificial intelligence after the United States and China.
Last November, Lee said the government would double spending next year on AI.
This week, the presidential office also said South Korea would partner with Arm, SoftBank’s British semiconductor design unit, to train 1,400 chip professionals.
“The initiative strengthens areas where South Korea’s semiconductor industry is relatively weak,” said presidential policy adviser Kim Yong-beom.
