The company also expressed its deep condolences to the victims who died and hopes that the injured victims will recover quickly.
“We express our deepest condolences to the families of the victims who died and pray that their souls rest in peace. We also sincerely hope that the injured victims will make a full recovery soon,” they wrote.
According to the company’s announcement, the fire that occurred on Tuesday (9/12) midday was possibly caused by a battery fire.
“Flame from the battery is considered as one possible cause,” the company said.
Terra Drone said it was still investigating details such as the country of origin of the battery that started the fire.
A fire broke out at the Terra Drone Building located in Cempaka Baru, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta (Jakpus) on Tuesday (9/12) afternoon.According to the police, the fire is thought to have started from a drone battery that caught fire on the 1st floor of the building.
“From the information above, it’s only temporary because the battery, yes, the battery from the drone caught fire. However, because of the fire, currently the laboratory team is still working,” said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro to reporters.
The DKI Jakarta Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) recorded a total of 76 victims in the incident.Of that number, 54 victims survived and 22 victims died.

According to Terra Drone’s latest financial report, as of January this year, Terra Drone Indonesia had 398 employees.
