At the event, Musk announced that xAI, his AI company, would build a giant data center in Saudi Arabia with Humain, an AI company backed by the kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The 500 megawatt data center will be xAI’s first large facility outside the US.

The data center will use chips from Nvidia.Huang, as CEO of Nvidia, sat on a panel with Musk and the Minister of Communications and Information Technology of Saudi Arabia, Abdullah Alswaha.
Musk is the world’s richest person with total wealth of US$467.8 billion or equivalent to IDR 7,824 trillion.
Meanwhile, Huang is a figure who has recently received world attention due to the increasingly massive popularity of AI.His assets currently reach US$162 billion or the equivalent of IDR 2,700 trillion.
According to reports

, the US is set to approve the first sale of advanced AI chips to Humain.
At the same event, Alswaha also announced plans to build a 100 megawatt data center for Amazon Web Services (AWS) with a long-term target of reaching one gigawatt capacity, which is also supported by Nvidia infrastructure.
As AI develops rapidly, giant data centers require large physical spaces and large amounts of energy. Many data centers are being built in the US.
However, there are concerns that China will be superior in energy production to support AI computing. Therefore, Saudi Arabia is considered to be a balance because it has access to large areas of land and cheap energy for these large projects.
During his visit to the White House on Wednesday (19/11), the crown prince stated that his country would invest US$ 1 trillion in the US.This figure is much larger than the previous announcement, namely US$600 billion last May.
The statement even surprised US President Donald Trump, even though the Saudi investment schedule was not yet clear.
“So you’re telling me now that $600 billion is going to be $1 trillion? Fine. I really like that,” Trump told the crown prince in the Oval Office.
